Hi, I’m Rebecca, the creator, writer, storyteller, character voice, and songwriter behind Lamplighter Kids.

I began Lamplighter Kids with my own three children in mind. I wanted to create the kinds of stories I was searching for as a parent: stories that felt calm rather than overwhelming, beautiful rather than hurried, and meaningful without becoming a lecture.

That hope became Lamplighter Kids Stories, an ad-free children’s story podcast filled with imaginative worlds, funny characters, original songs, timeless virtues, and simple questions families can talk about together.

I write and perform the stories alongside my squirrel friend, Momo McSquirrel. I carry the story and reflection. Momo brings curiosity, friendship, acorns, and the occasional squirrel-sized misunderstanding.

My hope is that Lamplighter gives children something warm and beautiful to return to, and gives grown-ups a story world they can welcome into car rides, quiet afternoons, bedtime wind-downs, and family conversations with confidence.
